Barrel Aged Desecration - Imperial Red Ale

On tap today August 31st at 4:00 PM we have Barrel Aged Desecration Imperial red Ale.

It's everything you've heard about Desecration, but as ballsy as it was it's even bigger now. Oak, vanilla, hops and caramel standout up front with a big boozy depth and complexity finishing with a long lingering draw. Aged in a Glenora single malt whiskey barrel for several weeks then conditioned in one of our serving vessels for another few weeks allowing the flavours mature. Totally worth the wait! 9.8% ABV

Our new Imp. R.A. is big, chewy, complex and satisfying with some serious malt balls balanced with copious quantities of C-hops in the classic West Coast tradition. Big delicious complexity.

Our firkin cask ale tomorrow, Saturday @ 1:00 pm is Hoparazzi APA infused with fresh ginger and lots of it!

We swapped out another bottle on the guest list. Gulden Draak is gonzo! In its place we have Smashbomb Atomic IPA.

The Hoparazzi APA is selling at record pace so get on it!

Hoparazzi - APA

Well folks, we plowed through some very tart berry-weizen, Gassed Jacktar Stout and Mangled IPA over the past few days to make room for our new APA which hits the taps tomorrow - Sunday August 19th.

Hoparazzi is a refreshingly hoppy American Pale Ale utilizing a hefty blend of the Columbus and Cascade cultivars as well as pure varietal Cascade essential hop oil in the finished brew. Citrus and spice dominate up front with a chewy malt backbone and crisp hop finish balancing it out. Pairs perfectly with our cheese plate, burgers and salmon fillet.

RB Beerfest!

Wreckoning RIS / Barrel Aged Desecration / Jacktar On Hoproids


I've decided it's high time for a little beerfest weekend at the pub so I geared up a few special brews and hope to see some folks out enjoying a few pints over the weekend. Here are the details....

- Thursday August 9th until Friday August 10th @ 4:00 PM we have  Gassed Jacktar Stout. As some of you know Jacktar is nitrogenated and served from a nitro faucet so this is a great chance to see what a difference CO2 gas and serving style can make on this version of our luscious black brew. Get on it. Get gassed!

- Friday August 10th from 4:00 PM through Sunday August 12th @ Close only we have Barrel Aged Desecration Imperial red Ale. Aged in a Glenora single malt whiskey barrel it's everything you've heard about Desecration but as ballsy as it was they're even bigger now! Oak, vanilla, hops and caramel are some of the standout characteristics. Oh yeah, and it's got some big booze complexity. This is gonna be hop-dawg epic!
Take note: ***No Growler Fills of BA Desecration***In house 12 oz portions only***

- Saturday August 11th @ high noon until it's gone; one keg of the one and only Wreckoning RIS. Hot-aged uber-deliciousness in your glass. This one is proof that God loves us all!

- Saturday August 11th @ high noon until it's gone - Firkin cask ale; on the bartop we have a pin cask of Jacktar Stout hammered with essential Cascade hop oil. This is (also) going to be epic!

Ladies and gentlemen that's a heap of epic-ness, plus we have Fathom IPA and our other regulars on tap as always so drop on over. It's gonna be a ballin hoppy time and remember, ale's what cures ya!

On tap today, August 2nd we have....

Hawser Weizen

A classic German-style Hefeweizen: delicious and refreshing with traditional phenolic and estery flavours you expect; banana and clove with hints of pepper and a complex fruitiness finishing with a clean acidic balance.

Well folks....

- Hasukappu Weisse is SOLD OUT!

- Tomorrow we have another Hefeweizen on tap, minus the secondary fermentation on Haskap. it may not have quite the charming good looks of the Hasukappu Weisse but it's plenty delicious!

- Mangled is alive and well and is tasting better than ever!

- Our barrel aged Desecration is really tasting like a heavy hitter, and oh so good!
